Turkish stock exchange rises at Wednesday's open
Turkey's benchmark stock index saw an upward trend at the opening of Wednesday's session, starting at 8,066.52 points, a 0.11% increase, or a rise of 9.1 points from the previous close.

The Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index had concluded Tuesday's trading at 8,057.52 points, marking a decrease of 0.37%, with a trading volume reaching 81 billion Turkish liras (approximately $2.81 billion).
In currency markets, the US dollar was trading at 28.9230 against the Turkish lira as of 9:55 a.m. local time (0655GMT). The euro was at 31.2030 against the lira, while the British pound was valued at 36.4580 Turkish liras.
Commodity markets saw Brent crude oil trading at around $77.40 per barrel. Meanwhile, gold prices stood at $2,045.20 per ounce.
