Turkish stock exchange opens flat on Tuesday
The Turkish stock exchange began flat on Tuesday, with the benchmark index dropping just 1 point at the opening session.

Turkey's benchmark stock index opened at 7,727.37 points, a slight decrease of 0.01% or 1.07 points from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index closed Monday at 7,728.44 points, falling 2.34%, with a daily trading volume of 78 billion liras (approximately $2.7 billion).
At 10:02 a.m. local time (0702 GMT), the US dollar to Turkish lira exchange rate was 29.0230. The euro was trading at 31.3020 against the lira, and the British pound was worth 36.4780 Turkish liras.
Brent crude oil was priced at about $76.60 per barrel. Meanwhile, an ounce of gold was valued at $2,003.45.
