Turkish stock exchange flat at open
BIST 100 index drops around 1 point at opening session.
The Turkish benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 10.081,68 points, down slightly by 0.01% or 1.09 points versus the previous close.
At Monday's close, the BIST 100 index rose by 1.69% to a historic high level of 10,082.77 points with a daily transaction volume of 100 billion Turkish liras ($3.08 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate was 32.3410 as of 10.35 a.m. (0735GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 34.6605, while the GBP/TRY rate was 40.46370.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,317.10, and the barrel price of Brent oil was around $87.30.
