Turkey's stock exchange rises at Friday's opening
Turkey's benchmark stock index began trading on Friday at 9,361.76 points, an increase of 0.16% or 14.59 points from its previous closing.

On Thursday, the Borsa Istanbul BIST 100 index climbed 0.38% to end the day at 9,347.17 points, with a trading volume of 144 billion liras ($4.64 billion).
The exchange rate for the US dollar to Turkish lira was 31.077 at 9:49 a.m. local time (0649GMT). The euro was trading at 33.6650 liras, and the British pound was at 39.3456 liras.
Brent crude oil traded at approximately $83.19 per barrel, while gold was priced at $2,029.85 an ounce.
