Turkey's benchmark stock index opens flat on Wednesday
The BIST 100 Index gained 8 points in the opening session, starting Wednesday at 8,054.80 points, a modest increase of 0.10% from Tuesday's close.
On Tuesday, the Borsa Istanbul BIST 100 index concluded trading at 8,046.62 points, marking a 1.26% jump, with a trading volume of 105 billion Turkish Liras (approximately $3.65 billion).
As of 9:55 AM local time, the exchange rate for the US dollar stood at 28.8141 Turkish Liras, with the Euro trading at 31.4005 Liras and the British Pound at 36.0585 Liras.
In commodities, Brent crude oil was priced at around $82.24 per barrel, and gold was trading at $2,002.30 per ounce.
