Economy Minister Mehmet Şimşek had 'fruitful talks' in Singapore
Stating that they had fruitful contacts in Singapore, Economy Minister Şimşek said, "At the General Assembly meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), we explained our vision for the next period in our fight against money laundering and terrorism financing."

Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, in a post on his social media account, gave information about his contacts in Singapore.
Commenting that he has had 'fruitful talks' in Singapore, Şimşek said that they presented the positive results of stability and reform programs to institutional investors and real sector representatives.
Şimşek said on his X post, "We had fruitful meetings with the Head of State, my esteemed friend Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Mr. Lawrence Wong on our potential areas of cooperation, especially in the fields of digital transformation, renewable energy and supporting start-ups. At the FATF's General Assembly meeting, we explained our vision for the next period in our fight against money laundering and terrorism financing."
