Consumer confidence in the economy declines, TÜİK reports
The economic confidence index fell by 2.5% month-on-month in June, dropping to 95.8. The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) released the economic confidence index data for June.

According to the data, the index, which stood at 98.2 in May, decreased by 2.5% to 95.8 in June.
During the same period, the consumer confidence index declined by 2.7%, falling to 78.3.
The real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index decreased by 1.9%, settling at 100.5.
The services sector confidence index dropped by 1.5% to 115.4, the retail trade sector confidence index fell by 2.6% to 108.8, and the construction sector confidence index decreased by 0.5% to 87.9.
