BIST 100 index opens steady midweek
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index barely moved at Wednesday's open, with a minor decline of 0.05%.

Turkey's leading stock index edged down to 8,856.29 points in the Wednesday morning session, reflecting a slight decrease.
The index had previously fallen by 0.53%, closing Tuesday at 8,860.52 points with a trading volume of 120 billion Turkish liras ($3.79 billion).
Exchange rates saw the USD/TRY at 31.7190, the EUR/TRY at 34.4950, and the GBP/TRY at 40.2940 as of 9:50 a.m. (0650GMT).
Gold was priced at $2,134.50 per ounce, and Brent oil stood at approximately $82.30 a barrel.
