Turkish foreign minister meets with his Swiss counterpart in New York

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a meeting Tuesday with his Swiss counterpart Ignazio Cassis at the Turkevi Center, or Turkish House, in New York City.
The two men discussed bilateral relations, regional issues, cooperation in international organizations and the latest developments in Ukraine, according to a statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The meeting came as Fidan is in New York to attend the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, during which he has held several bilateral meetings to discuss global issues with his counterparts, including from Azerbaijan and Greece on Tuesday, the Netherlands on Monday and Germany and Ireland on Sunday.
