Turkish stock exchange up at Wednesday's open
BIST 100 index gains around 13 points at opening session
The Turkish benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 11,152.32 points, up by 0.12% or 12.99 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 index was up by 0.67% to a record closing level of 11,139.34 points with a daily transaction volume of 101 billion Turkish liras ($3.06 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate was 33.0965 as of 10.10 a.m. (0710GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 36.1165, while the GBP/TRY rate was 42.9770.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,465.65, and the barrel price of Brent oil was around $83.05.
