BIST 100 opens flat on Thursday
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul opened nearly unchanged on Thursday, with a slight gain of 3.32 points, or 0.04%, settling at 8,964.97.

On Wednesday, the benchmark index closed the day down by 1.05%, at 8,945.80 points, after trades totaling 87 billion Turkish liras ($2.73 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate stood at 31.9315 by 10:20 a.m. local time (0720 GMT) on Thursday, while the EUR/TRY and GBP/TRY rates were 34.7490 and 40.4370, respectively.
Gold prices reached $2,293.50 per ounce, and Brent oil was trading at around $89.90 a barrel.
